It is Jung Sungha’s birthday today! He is now 13 years old. Today I saw he has uploaded a new video. It’s titled “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” a lovely melody. This one was arranged by Laurence Juber.
A couple of years ago (when he was 11!), he played the same song as arranged by Eric Schoenberg.
People are usually fans of well-known celebrities that are easily accessible on TV, etc. I’d like to share 2 other people that are not as well-known that I’m a fan of. I believe they are well-known within their spheres of influence though.
1) Jung Sungha – genius kid guitarist. Seriously, you need to watch his videos on YouTube. Not only does he perform great covers and arrangements of songs, he composes music too! And he’s only turning 13 this September 2nd! He started playing when he was 9.
Here, he was invited to perform in well-known guitarist Trace Bundy’s concert in Korea.

A lot of his videos are of him playing at home though.
2) SharingYoochun – yes, I am a fan of a blog! I usually troll around the net for info on my current favorite band, DBSK, but ever since I ran across this blog, it has been my main source of information. I totally appreciate the admins running it for getting reliable news out to the English-speaking fans of DBSK.
